Meet the Owner
Leonardo — Third Generation Roofer
Roofing isn’t just a business for Leonardo — it’s a family legacy. His grandfather started roofing Houston homes in the 1970s, back when the city was a fraction of its current size. His father carried that torch through the 80s and 90s, building a reputation across Harris County for showing up, doing the work right, and standing behind it.
Leonardo grew up on job sites. He learned the trade from the ground up — not from a textbook, but from hands-on work and three generations of family knowledge. He understands Houston’s Gulf Coast climate not because he studied it, but because he’s spent his life working under its brutal heat, watching what it does to shingles, flashing, and decking over time.
When he founded Astro Roofing, the mission was simple: build a company that actually answers the phone, shows up when it says it will, cleans up completely, and backs every roof with a warranty worth having. Everything else — the Owens Corning materials, the insurance claim expertise, the 10-year workmanship warranty — flows from that founding principle.
